How Funduary's funding data works
Funduary is built to make funding discovery easier, faster, and more transparent. Our database combines structured funding records, official source links, automated checks, and human review so users can search, compare, and assess opportunities more efficiently.
Funduary is not a live AI search engine
Funduary does not generate a new, unverified AI search from scratch each time you use the platform. Instead, opportunities are maintained as structured records with source links, categories, eligibility notes, deadlines, and review fields. Search and matching features help you navigate the database more efficiently.
Where the data comes from
Funding records are sourced from official funder websites, government programs, public grant directories, regional development agencies, arts councils, accelerator programs, and other publicly available funding sources. Where possible, each opportunity links back to the official source.
How records are reviewed
Funduary uses a combination of automated checks and manual review. Automated tools help identify source links, updates, expired links, and potential changes. Human review is used to improve summaries, eligibility notes, tags, deadlines, and funding details.
What “last checked” means
Where available, each opportunity includes a last checked or last reviewed indicator. This helps users understand when the source was most recently reviewed, updated, or verified.
Why users should confirm details
Funding programs can change. Deadlines, eligibility rules, funding amounts, and application requirements may be updated by the funder at any time. Funduary helps users discover and assess opportunities, but users should always confirm final details on the official funder website before applying.
Completeness
Funduary is designed to grow over time. The database is not presented as a complete list of every funding opportunity in Canada. New sources, regions, and funding categories are added regularly, with priority given to high-value, credible, and frequently used funding sources.
For consultants and advisors
Consultants, grant writers, accountants, SRED/IRAP advisors, fractional CFOs, and other professional advisors may use Funduary to support client discovery, planning, and funding conversations, subject to the applicable plan terms.
